Every time I listen to Vox Populi, I press pause when Jared sings, “Do ever wanna just stop?” because during a show, he stops, Shannon stops, Tomo stops, and every person in that venue stops. Everything goes quiet, and it’s the loudest silence you will ever hear, ‘cause the whole crowd’s energy is building in your heart until you can’t take it anymore, and then it explodes back when the song starts again and you feel like you’re on the top of the fucking world and I love revisiting that feeling.
